Tonight, we ascended Obama at sundown and climbed into the crown to the anchor, which is at 90 feet. Stayed up there for almost 2 hours with the cityscape shimmering in the half-moon.
We just set feet down on terra firma minutes ago. Not a typical Saturday night for me.

Yours truly, climbing into Sueño. I'm currently blogging from 35' highIt is quite exciting to be here and also an honor to span time and
limbs with these friends.
[You can see Peter "Treeman" Jenkins, father of recreational tree climbing and founder of Tree Climbers International, in the background. We are forever indebted to Peter and Patty for their gracious hospitality and generous wisdom and instruction.]
Peter "Treeman" Jenkins in Sueño, teaching us the ropes. Literally.

Sent from the tree, Sueño.
We're settling into TCI very nicely. We've met Echo, Swing Low, Obama the
tulip poplar tree, and Patty, our amazing hostess who is Peter's wife. We look forward to meeting Peter, the "Treeman" himself first thing in the morning.
And we've got some trees to meet, and climb.
