Climbing the Trinity Tree

Alan Krieg is at the top of this tree at the time this photo was snapped earlier today. It is 185 feet tall. We know that because we helped to measure its height, to the foot.

This minute, I'm in a tree boat hammock and hunkered down for the night. JB, Alan, TC and I are camping out for the night 140-150 feet high in redwood space.

I've sent a handful of posts today but were kicked back to me and not posted.

    Can't wait to see the pics in the tree hammock! Looks like you guys are camping in an amazing spot. I remember that espresso maker from 20 years ago...Danny Lyons never throws his sh*& away!!!!! Still working after all this time...pretty cool.
